Resumo: In view of these anxieties, the present work focuses on the city of Santos, giving priority to the period between 1890 and 1930, trying to recover the process of urbanization, experiences and human activities and regaining all the diversity and dynamics of occupations which absorbed the everyday life of men and women who worked in the coffee harbor.
