Resumo: The objective of this work is to evaluate the career trajectory of professionals with stricto sensu postgraduate education and employment in the pharmaceutical industry. The research adopted a qualitative orientation, based on the technique of content analysis, and the data was obtained by completing electronic questionnaires. As a result, was observed a trend towards a change in the view of professionals with a stricto sensu postgraduate, valuing and encouraging their continuing education. It was found that the search for postgraduate studies is motivated mostly by an individual decision, and not a joint decision between student, educational organization and private initiative.

La investigación adoptó una orientación cualitativa, basada en la técnica del análisis de contenidos, y los datos obtenidos a través de la realización de cuestionarios electrónicos. Como resultado, se observó una tendencia de cambio en la opinión de los profesionales con valoración estricta del nivel de posgrado stricto sensu, valorando y fomentando su educación continua. Se encontró que la búsqueda de la escuela de posgrado está motivada principalmente por una decisión individual, y no por una decisión conjunta entre los estudiantes, la organización docente y la iniciativa privada.O objetivo deste trabalho é avaliar a trajetória de carreira de profissionais com nível de formação pós-graduação stricto sensu e com vínculo empregatício na indústria farmacêutica. A pesquisa adotou uma orientação qualitativa, baseada na técnica de análise de conteúdo, sendo os dados obtidos via preenchimento de questionários eletrônicos. Como resultado, foi observada uma tendência de mudança na visão sobre profissionais com titulação nível de pós-graduação stricto sensu, valorizando e incentivando sua formação continuada.
