Resumo: This paper brings a brief reflection on the insertion of PwDs in professional courses offered by SENAI-MT, as well as their insertion in the labor market. The research is justified by addressing a relevant topic for society, as approximately 46 million people have some type of disability and even with legal provisions in force in the country, such a small number - 1% - occupies some position in the labor market. The general objective of the research is to understand how the process of insertion of these people in the labor market has taken place and how they have maintained their employability. This is an exploratory descriptive research of a qualitative nature. Data collection took place through field research, and the instrument used for this process was a semi-structured interview script. The main results indicate that the inclusion process by SENAI in partnership with some companies does not occur efficiently, as the PwDs deal only with theory and practically leave the courses without knowing the facilities of a company, in addition to the contracts of PwDs are valid only during the course and this means that at the end of the course, few have a chance to actually go to the market and especially to remain employed.

La investigación se justifica por abordar un tema relevante para la sociedad, ya que aproximadamente 46 millones de personas tienen algún tipo de discapacidad y aún con las disposiciones legales vigentes en el país, un número tan pequeño - 1% - ocupa algún puesto en el mercado laboral. El objetivo general de la investigación es comprender cómo se ha producido el proceso de inserción de estas personas en el mercado laboral y cómo han mantenido su empleabilidad. Se trata de una investigación exploratoria descriptiva de carácter cualitativo. La recolección de datos se realizó a través de una investigación de campo, y el instrumento utilizado para este proceso fue una guía de entrevista semiestructurada. Los principales resultados indican que el proceso de inclusión por parte del SENAI en alianza con algunas empresas no se da de manera eficiente, dado que las PCD se ocupan únicamente de la teoría y prácticamente salen de los cursos sin conocer las instalaciones de una empresa, además de que los contratos de las PCD son válidos solo durante el curso y esto significa que al final del curso, pocos tienen la oportunidad de ir realmente al mercado y especialmente de permanecer empleados.O presente trabalho traz uma breve reflexão sobre a inserção das PcDs nos cursos profissionalizantes, ofertados pelo SENAI-MT, bem como sua inserção no mercado de trabalho. A pesquisa se justifica por abordar uma temática relevante para a sociedade, visto que aproximadamente 46 milhoes de pessoas tem algum tipo de deficiencia e mesmo com dispositivos legais vigentes no país, um número taõ pequeno – 1% - ocupa alguma posição no mercado de trabalho. O objetivo geral da pesquisa é compreender como tem se dado o processo de inserção dessas pessoas no mercado de trabalho e como elas têm mantido sua empregabilidade. Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva exploratória de natureza qualitativa. A coleta de dado se deu com uma pesquisa de campo, e o instrumento utilizado para esse processo foi um roteiro de entrevista semiestruturado.
