The scientific study of religion applied to the religious education curriculum

Resumo: | This article highlights and defends the scientific study of religion as an area of knowledge to ensure religious education as a curriculum component on par with the other areas that make up the school curriculum. For this, it highlights the Brazilian Common National Curricular Base as a guiding document for the teaching practice of religious education teachers, which finds in the scientific study of religion its meta-theoretical references applied, relies on bibliographic and documentary research for this analysis in order to present their references in order to highlight the academic scientific status of this discipline that has become a reference for the study of religions and other secular worldviews, as well as for the training of these teachers. In this way, in the face of the scientific contributions that are their own and of the experience accumulated together with the secretaries of State (Pará) and municipal education (Belém), not only it seeks to reference the scientific study of religion as a referential discipline for the curriculum of this curricular component capable of assuring the secularity of the State and its due application as an applied scientific study of religion. |

Para isso, destaca a BNCC como documento norteador para a prática docente de professores de ensino religioso, que encontra na ciência da religião seus referenciais metateóricos aplicados, conta com a pesquisa bibliográfica e documental para essa análise a fim de apresentar seus referenciais próprios no sentido de evidenciar o status acadêmico científico dessa disciplina que se tornou referencial para o estudo sobre religiões e outras visões seculares de mundo, assim como para a formação desses professores.
