This monograph is based on the work and creative processes of actress and theater director Janaína Leite. Several issues related to what has been conventionally called contemporary theater emerge from his works, such as the crossings between fiction and reality, autobiography and dramaturgy, theater and performance, pornography and philosophy, among others. In addition to a presentation of the main processes, the bridges between Leite and other artists are explained here, as well as the intense experience of being part of the audience that follows her and the study group that works as a site for (her) works. The theoretical foundation is based on some interlocutors of researchcreation such as Julia Kristeva (1980), Georges Bataille (1928), George Agamben (2007) and the Brazilians Renato Cohen (2006), Antônio Araújo (2008) and Christine Greiner (2010), between others
