This bibliographic research work aims to review how the main national curriculum policies documents, the DCNEI (National Curriculum Guidelines) and the preliminary version of BNCC Common National Curriculum Base address the curriculum organization for early childhood education, in which it proposes the organization of the Curricula by fields of experience that are intended to guide practices. Analyze the meaning of experience from the thinking of John Dewey, an American philosopher, in which we find conceptions that help us in clarifying the curricular approach of experience. The problematization about the concept of experience appears in several works of the author; (1971), (1959a), Democracy and Education (1959b), Life and Education (1973). To broaden the reflection about the curricular documents, considering them as a relevant reference for the management team, in order to broaden the discussion with the school, with a culture, with the families, about the curriculum by fields of experience, and the changes that its application Can bring to the ways of dealing with the knowledge, times and school spaces, in order to overcome the pedagogical practices organized by curricular disciplines
