A comunicação do sujeito surdo com o ouvinte e as dificuldades estabelecidas nessa relação

In this work we tried to understand how it is established the communication between the Deaf and the hearing and the difficulties found in this relationship. In order to do this we have done six interviews with six Deaf adults. After the data was analyzed. Inside the Deaf community the communication is done by Sign Language or by oral language and lip-reading. We consider that for the connection of the Deaf in the word the Sign Language is as important as spoken language for the communication of the hearing. It allows the Deaf to have a better knowledge of the world, making the social tie to be strengthened. We were able to realize that the Deaf communicative contact with the hearing world is not easy; many problems are set in this relation. We can conclude that the speech for the Deaf can be an useful tool, but it does not substitute the need of the Sign Language in order for the Deaf to have full access to the language. We realized too that the Deaf who were able to better communicate with the hearing world were those who had attained speech training. For this, it is necessary that the government be conscious of the need of the execution of the Portaria da Saúde Auditiva (Hearing Health Decret), not for the Deaf became hearing or to pretend to be hearing, but because they, as individuals plain of language and as citizen, be able to demand their rights
