Resumo: This paper discusses the need of the subject to fill the gap by the consumption, trying to understand if the current society breaks with the traditional model of suppression of the absense. To do so, this paper makes an analysis of the movie Wall Street, o dinheiro nunca dorme II , in the light of Freudian and Lacanian concepts. In conclusion defends that the society remains the same, just using new devices
