Resumo: This work aims to help managers, teachers, coordinators, parents and other education professionals to better understand their students, identifying children who may have ADHD disorder, in order to understand them. This knowledge can guide the school and its professionals to work together with families and develop the educational process of the school. It was employed a research methodology with documentary analysis and material from theorists of the area among them Dermeval Saviani, Ana Beatriz Barbosa Silva and Paulo Matos. It was concluded that the manager together with other educators of the school and the families have a preponderant role in directing education with quality knowing the characteristics of a student with ADHD

Tem se como pressuposto que com o conhecimento poder-se-a orientar a escola, seus profissionais a trabalhar junto com as famílias para aperfeiçoar o processo educativo da escola. Utilizou-se uma metodologia de pesquisa com análise documental e de teóricos da área entre eles Dermeval Saviani, Ana Beatriz Barbosa Silva, Paulo Matos.
