This study aimed to: (i) investigate the effects on the elderly of what happens in terms of social relations in the institutional context, which involved checking the ways they relate to themselves, other residents, professionals, caregivers, volunteers, and family, (ii) to verify the efficiency of routing mediators in order to reach a possible harmonious coexistence among individuals living in two-LSIAPs Institutions for the Aged, one located in Sorocaba and São Vicente (SP). We have used participant observation and interviews with ten people and from the interpretation of his sayings, and his unspoken, we could analyze the problems of some of the conflicts arising in the context of asylum. It would be idle to the elderly motivation of many of the conflicts that took? The results indicate that, in fact, an internal imbalance in social relations can increase the conflicts among the elderly, the inclusion of pleasurable activities, but the choice of the elderly, in our view, is that it can contribute decisively to the solution or by less the decrease of such conflicts
