The present work will deal with the settlement of sentence, which is provided for in articles 509 to 512 of the Code Of Civil Procedure, the work aims to present the concept, its modalities and procedures, as well as, seeks to point out the main changes with the entry into force of the new Code of Civil Procedure. The content was developed on the basis of the texto f the new civil procedure code, as well as, in doctrine and peaceful jurisprudence, with greater attention to the points where there is more divergence. As in any other legal area, there are diferences of opinion on several points, such as whether or not there is a new fee arbitration in te liquidation phase, oro n which appeal is settlement etc. The themes are already being treated by jurisprudence and doctrine, and in this work will be presented the various positions of magistrates and indoctrinators, capable of forming the opinion of the reader
