This work of completion of the course has as its central theme the leadership of a non-profit organization - 100 years of presence of the Association SIPEB in Brazil. The inquiry about mobilizing: what is the role of leadership in the interior of a non-profit organization, has become the object of attention in the course of the entire work. It was developed a reflection, which had its start in personal experiences lived in the interior of the organization, as well as the finding of the growth of the performance of non-profit organizations in Brazil, and this has led to the choice of the theme. Concomitantly with the readings of various authors, the authors conducted a study in the archives of the Association SIPEB, located in its administrative headquarters in São Paulo. To facilitate the understanding of the work, this was a cut of time: 1858 to 1964; 1965 to 1999; 2000 to 2011. This cut-off was the objective to present the main characteristics of the action of leaders in the various historical moments that marked the performance of the organization. At the end of the work and submitted a text with the words spoken by Maria Inês Coelho Rosa, current responsible for the management of Association SIPEB, on the occasion of the opening ceremony of the commemoration of 100 years of the Association SIPEB in Brazil
