Resumo: | This work studies the meaning and interaction regimes that allow the citizens’ life practices in Carapicuíba to be seen and exist. The corpus comprises the three municipal parks: (1) Parque do Planalto; (2) Parque da Aldeia; (3) Parque dos Paturis, which were observed from the second half of 2015 to the end of 2016. Our analysis covers the park’s relationship with its surroundings, such as internal spatialities and use practices. This live observation on the spot was complemented by the collection of journalistic, educational and advertising materials to constitute the perspectives of other addressers. The research aims to answer the problem: what does the configuration of each park promotes as actions of the population, what are the interaction modes between the inhabitants and the parks and how does this ambience makes the population feel occupying it or not; In short, what do these senses promote in the states of soul and mood of the periphery’s inhabitants? For this purpose we have as goal to observe and analyze the life practices, the ways to be and the interactions of Carapicuíba’s inhabitants “with” and “in” the parks. We propose as explanatory hypotheses: (1) Against the worn out everyday life which consumes hours of sports and leisure the parks ceases to be sought in the several life practices that could contribute to the population’s life; (2) To the extent that it allows to feel and live more in society, the park presents itself as a reinforcing factor of social ties; (3) The life practices and interactions between the population and the parks can resignify the citizens of Carapicuíba. This research also contrasted the media visibility that these outskirts’ parks have with the one gathered from observation. In addition to the syntax of visibility proposed by Eric Landowski, the presence ways of these parks also lead us to categorize their means to show themselves and to be seen by the population just as their relation with the surroundings. The study is conducted by the theoretical background of A.J. Greimas’ Discursive Semiotics, and its developments by E. Landowski, J.M. Floch e A.C. de Oliveira. The results show that despite the good locality, vegetation, children's playground and gymnastic equipment for adults, there is not a more intensive attendance of the inhabitants mostly due to the presence of users of narcotics, lack of security, lack of cleaning and care with the parks by the City Hall. The lack of a public policy to value the public space, as a place of permanence for the inhabitants and of social practices, was clarified, as well as a lack of preparation of the population to demand their right to attend the parks |

O corpus compreende os três parques municipais: (1) Parque do Planalto; (2) Parque da Aldeia; (3) Parque dos Paturis, que foram observados do segundo semestre de 2015 ao final de 2016. Nossa análise abarca a relação do parque com o seu entorno, como as espacialidades internas e as práticas de usos. Essa observação ao vivo no local foi complementada com a coleta de materiais jornalísticos, educacionais e publicitários para constituir as perspectivas de outros destinadores. A investigação visa dar respostas ao problema: o que a configuração de cada parque promove enquanto ações da população, quais são os modos de interação entre os habitantes e os parques e como a ambiência desses faz a população se sentir o ocupando ou não; enfim, o que esses sentidos promovem nos estados de alma e de ânimo dos habitantes da periferia? Para isso tem-se como objetivo observar e analisar as práticas de vida, os modos de estar e as interações dos habitantes de Carapicuíba “com” e “nos” parques. Propõem-se como hipóteses explicativas: (1) Frente ao cotidiano desgastado que consome as horas de esporte e lazer, os parques deixam de ser buscados nas várias práticas de vida que poderiam fazer viver a população; (2) Na medida em que fazem sentir e viver mais em sociedade, os parques apresentam-se como fator de reforço dos vínculos sociais; (3) As práticas de vida e as interações entre a população e os parques podem ressignificar os cidadãos de Carapicuíba. Essa investigação ainda contrastou a visibilidade midiática que esses parques da periferia têm com aquela colhida na observação. Além da sintaxe da visibilidade postulada por Eric Landowski, são também os modos de presença desses parques que nos levam a arrolar os modos de seu mostrar-se e os de ser visto pela população assim como se dá sua relação com o entorno. O estudo orienta-se pelo referencial teórico da Semiótica Discursiva de A.J. Greimas, e seus desenvolvimentos por E. Landowski, J.M. Floch e A.C. de Oliveira. Os resultados atingidos mostram que apesar da boa localidade, vegetação, parquinho infantil e aparelhos de ginástica para adultos, não há uma frequentação mais intensiva dos habitantes em grande parte devido à presença de usuários de entorpecentes, ausência de segurança, falta de limpeza e cuidado com os parques por parte da Prefeitura. A falta de política pública de valorização do espaço público para permanência dos habitantes e lugar de práticas sociais foi evidenciada, assim como um despreparo da população para exigir seu direito à frequentação dos parquesConselho Nacional de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico - CNPqapplication/pdfhttp://tede2.pucsp.br/tede/retrieve/42692/Claudia%20Lopes%20Ramires%20Cueva.pdf.jpgporPontifícia Universidade Católica de São PauloPrograma de Estudos Pós-Graduados em Comunicação e SemióticaPUC-SPBrasilFaculdade de Filosofia, Comunicação, Letras e ArtesParques urbanos - Carapicuíba (São Paulo, SP)Periferia de São PauloLazer - Carapicuíba (São Paulo, SP)Carapicuíba’s parksSão Paulo’s outskirtsLeisure - Carapicuíba (São Paulo, SP)CNPQ::CIENCIAS SOCIAIS APLICADAS::COMUNICACAOInterações e sentido nos parques de Carapicuíba: práticas de vida de uma cidade periféricainfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessreponame:Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações da PUC_SPinstname:Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP)instacron:PUC_SPTEXTClaudia Lopes Ramires Cueva.pdf.txtClaudia Lopes Ramires Cueva.pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain169093https://repositorio.pucsp.br/xmlui/bitstream/handle/20201/4/Claudia%20Lopes%20Ramires%20Cueva.pdf.txtc6c712670b7e43eb843f38c068a95fdeMD54LICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
