This study aims to present the right to work of people with disabilities as a guarantee of social inclusion and the consequent protection of the isonomy principle and the human dignity background. It presents a brief historical and ideological analysis about the social value of work, intending to highlight the subjection of the valorization and dignity of the worker to the nowadays real power factors. It offers an analysis of the isonomy principle reformulation and its application to the judiciary system, as well as, a historical evaluation regarding the models of social treatment offered to people with disabilities. It exposes that social practices intended to create minimum conditions of opportunities to the group, need state intervention and community awareness. The world population of people with disabilities is six hundred million; being in Brazil approximately twenty four million five hundred thousand citizens, who, because of their difficulty in conquering space in the labor market, are deprived to practice, on an independent and dignified way, basic rights. The labor exclusion is a serious transgression to the collectivity, as to leave the laborer away from his work achievements, implies in a complete loss of humanity, thunders the dignity, mitigates social rights and exterminates the ideals of social justice. Social inclusion based on the right to work of a person with disabilities safeguard his right to equality and the full exercise of positivized fundamental rights. Grant this minority the possibility of providing its self -support, minimizes the expenses and promotes a real exercise of rights and a full and healthy personality development aiming to guarantee human dignity.
