The present study proposes to articulate an analysis of the concept of transference and its implications in education, specifically in the teacher-student relationship. To develop this argument we sought to briefly understand the history of psychoanalysis, however, in education with focus where in what Sigmund Freud approached about it in his work and how he presents the concept of transference throughout his works in relation to knowledge and knowledge For Freud, the universe that permeates the educator-educator relationship is the background for many situations, providing challenges, and it establishes a positive transference with the child, a strong affective relationship, which will be the great motor of the resocialization of it.
