Through a prior understanding of the timeline of the international climate agenda, the Carbon Market within the Brazilian government has taken its first steps, even in a challenging scenario. With legal, fiscal and social mechanisms, the most important sectors of the economy and politics are organized so that the Law Projects become effective and Brazil advances in this agenda that, even in the molds of a colonial logic, the country is part of this turning point key to the logic of preserving the environment. Data released by the Conferences of the Parties (COPs) in their reports were used, mainly after the accession of the Kyoto Protocol, in order to understand the increase in global warming and its impacts, supporting the need to create devices such as the Carbon Credit to reduce the impacts of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere. The Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) is also opened in order to understand the role of developing countries in the debate on the implementation of the Carbon Market. The influence of those impacted by these actions, the actions of the Brazilian government and the difficulties faced in the exceptional Brazilian scenario are highlighted in the last section
