Resumo: This study aims to project a vision about the writ of certiorary startingbya critical dimension of the lack of democratic legitimacy of the Constitutional Court. In this context, it is shown how the data relevant and essential to the reconstruction of new procedural and constitutional dogma, the figure of amicus curiae briefs inthe Brazilian legal system. Another said, we intend to demonstrate, beyond the study of the nature of that institute, its contributory role in the pluralization of the constitutional debate and its implications within the required diffuse control of constitutionality
