Resumo: The possibility of wage garnishment to settle the debts of the debtor is the subject of numerous discussions in the courts patriotic. One of the conflicts about gird unseizability absolute wage, which despite having as main objective the protection of the dignity of the debtor, has been used as a refuge for the breach of obligations legitimately incurred and consequently subject to the lender. Another point of comparison lies in trying to apply the principles of effectiveness and proportionality adjudication without hurting the principles that guarantee the minimum for subsistence. Questions like these will be analyzed through a reinterpretation of existing laws and contextualized the most renowned jurisprudential and doctrinal positions. The relevance of the topic discussion is intended to foster the possibility and plausibility inserting legal device that allows the attachment part of the remuneration of the common run into debts
