Percepção de sentimentos e emoções na videoconferência: um estudo com alunas do PEC-Municípios

Resumo: | This dissertation had as the objective the investigation of female students feelings and emotions during a videoconference in municipal schools. Students and teachers from the municipal course PEC Continuous Education Program (PUC University SP) participated in the research during the years 2003 and 2004. A semi-structured interview was the tool used to collect data, which led to the knowledge of the students feelings concerning themselves and the teachers during the videoconference. Teachers were also interviewed and the data collected showed the feelings relating to themselves, which enabled the verification of students perception. The obtained data was analyzed according to Henri Wallon s theory as well other authors who researched the role of the videoconference in education. Feelings and emotions, which were expressed and noticed between teachers that presented the videoconferences and their female students, were verified in the results. It was also observed the unit maintenance, which means student and teacher during the teaching-learning process. Feelings such as concern, surprise, shock, satisfaction, disappointment, embarrassment, calmness, fear, dissatisfaction, discomfort, guilty, anxiety, boredom, accomplishment, tension, happiness, loneliness, depression, discouragement, annoyance and impotence were related. It has not been supported, therefore, the known belief that education through Information and Communication Technology does not provide feelings and emotions, however, time and specific preparation are needed so that female students and teachers can be proficient in this kind of learning environment |

Os participantes da pesquisa foram alunas e professores videoconferencistas do curso do PEC-Municípios, da PUC-SP, em 2003-2004. O instrumento utilizado para a coleta de dados foi a entrevista semi-estruturada, que permitiu conhecer a percepção de sentimentos das alunas no professor videoconferencista e nelas mesmas, assim como, nas entrevistas com os professores a percepção de sentimentos neles mesmos. Os dados dos professores possibilitaram a verificação da percepção das alunas. Os dados obtidos foram analisados segundo a teoria de Henri Wallon e outros autores que pesquisaram a videoconferência na educação. Nos resultados obtidos, verificamos a fluência de sentimentos e emoções expressos e percebidos entre professores(a) videoconferencistas e alunas. Da mesma forma, foi observada a manutenção da unidade aluna e professor durante o processo de ensino-aprendizagem por videoconferência. Foram relatados sentimentos como: preocupação, surpresa, susto, satisfação, frustração, constrangimento, tranqüilidade, medo, insatisfação, incômodo, culpa, ansiedade, tédio, realização, tensão, angústia, desconforto, felicidade, solidão, depressão, gelada , impotência, desânimo, ânimo. Não se manteve, portanto, a crença bastante divulgada na sociedade de que a educação e a comunicação via Tecnologia da Informação e da Comunicação são destituídas de sentimentos e emoções, ou seja, consideradas frias .
