Resumo: Mobile Learning is already pervasive. At the exact moment when these words are written, the world is experiencing a pandemic that forces a good portion of people to stay at home, a situation that should foster the learning that takes place through digital devices. The central theme of this work is exactly this type of learning, more specifically the learning that occurs through smartphones. Starting from teaching by the dialectical method in the ancient Greece of Socrates, Plato and Aristotle, mankind later learned, in medieval times, the scholastic method, according to which the teacher is the holder of all knowledge. Thus, whether in Ancient Times or in the Middle Ages, the dissemination of knowledge did not have support tools. Also in this sense, the invention of the press in the 15th century by Gutenberg was a milestone, as it played an important role in the dissemination of knowledge from then on, due to the possibility of the reproduction of books. Almost six centuries have passed and since the early 2000s we are experiencing our growing dependence on smartphones. Among a range of tasks, we have teaching / learning. What relevance will smartphones have in helping to spread learning? Would it be too much to compare to the relevance that the Gutemberg press had centuries ago? We don't know, the course of time will respond. This work was developed in order to portray the state of the art of Mobile Learning through the world, analyzing some recent cases, which were selected in the CAPES Journal Portal. The cases were analyzed with a practical focus, seeking to identify the benefits, difficulties and lessons learned from the experiences, without losing sight of important learning theories, which are discussed in chapter 1

What relevance will smartphones have in helping to spread learning? Would it be too much to compare to the relevance that the Gutemberg press had centuries ago? We don't know, the course of time will respond. This work was developed in order to portray the state of the art of Mobile Learning through the world, analyzing some recent cases, which were selected in the CAPES Journal Portal. The cases were analyzed with a practical focus, seeking to identify the benefits, difficulties and lessons learned from the experiences, without losing sight of important learning theories, which are discussed in chapter 1O Mobile Learning já é pervasivo. No exato momento em que essas palavras são escritas o mundo vive uma pandemia que força uma boa parcela das pessoas a permanecerem em casa, situação essa que deve fomentar a aprendizagem que se dá através de dispositivos digitais. O tema central desse trabalho é exatamente esse tipo de aprendizagem, mais especificamente a aprendizagem que ocorre através de smartphones. Partindo do ensino pelo método dialético na Grécia antiga de Sócrates, Platão e Aristóteles, a humanidade conheceu posteriormente, nos tempos medievais, o método escolástico, segundo o qual o professor é o detentor de todo o conhecimento. Assim, seja na Antiguidade, seja na Idade Média, a disseminação do conhecimento não contou com ferramentas de apoio. Também nesse sentido, a invenção da imprensa no século XV por Gutenberg foi um marco, pois teve um papel importante na difusão do conhecimento a partir de então, devido à possibilidade da reproducão dos livros. Quase seis séculos se passaram e desde o início dos anos 2000 estamos experimentando nossa dependência crescente em relação aos smartphones. Dentre uma gama de tarefas, temos o ensino/aprendizagem. Que relevância assumirão os smartphones no auxílio à propagação da aprendizagem? Seria exagerado comparar à relevância que a imprensa de Gutemberg teve séculos atrás? Não sabemos, o decurso do tempo responderá. Esse trabalho foi desenvolvido com o intuito de retratar o estado da arte do Mobile Learning pelo mundo, analisando alguns casos recentes, os quais foram selecionados no Portal de Periódico da CAPES. Os casos foram analisados com um enfoque prático, buscando identificar os benefícios, as dificuldades e os aprendizados das experiências, sem perder de vista importantes teorias de aprendizagem, as quais são tratadas no capítulo 1application/pdfhttp://tede2.pucsp.br/tede/retrieve/53024/Marcelo%20Anunciato.pdf.jpgporPontifícia Universidade Católica de São PauloPrograma de Estudos Pós-Graduados em Tecnologias da Inteligência e Design DigitalPUC-SPBrasilFaculdade de Ciências Exatas e TecnologiaSistemas de comunicação móvel em educaçãoAprendizagemSmartphonesMobile communication systemsin educationLearningSmartphonesCNPQ::ENGENHARIASMobile learning: um breve panorama do uso pelo mundoMobile learning: a brief overview of use around the worldinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessreponame:Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações da PUC_SPinstname:Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP)instacron:PUC_SPTEXTMarcelo Anunciato.pdf.txtMarcelo Anunciato.pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain238212https://repositorio.pucsp.br/xmlui/bitstream/handle/23420/4/Marcelo%20Anunciato.pdf.txt20761764b0dd69b7949b7a233352dca0MD54LICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
