This study shows the importance of the Collective Memory in the experience of people with Alzheimer's Disease, the most common dementia in the world according to the World Health Organization (2020). The research is willing to understand how the Collective Memory can contribute to the subjective constitution of someone who experiences this process of dementia, based on the conceptualization of Halbwachs and Ecléa Bosi about Collective Memory and recent psychology studies about Alzheimer's Disease. The research has a qualitative approach and uses the bibliographic study as a methodological procedure. The searches were carried out in the PePSIC research database, using the following descriptors: Social Memory Collective Memory and Alzheimer's. The articulation of Collective Memory with the experience of people suffering from Alzheimer's Disease is necessary in the area of psychology not only because of the absence of studies that propose to make this articulation, but also because this relationship has the potential to produce a therapy for those who care for Alzheimer's patients and for those who live with the disease. Identifying the singularities and subjectivities that persist, even with the loss of memory, is essential so that the one who forgets is still seen and considered as a subject. In the final considerations, it is proposed to look at Collective Memory as an important aspect in the life of the one with Alzheimer and understand it as a significant tool for the maintenance of subjectivity
