The social changes occurring at a rapid pace and is especially visible in the dramatic advancement of information technology and communication, and causing, deep changes, or at least structural imbalances in all spheres of society, creating new worldviews and new ways of acquiring knowledge. The integration of technology to education is no longer an option, they are already in the world, invading our daily lives, transforming all aspects of social and economic life, and it is up to the field of education explore the pedagogical potential of the best possible way. Among teachers, the spread of computers, internet, cell phones, digital cameras, email, broadband and many available devices of modernity causes mixed reactions. This work had as main objective to verify the level of influence the course of postgraduation "Formação de Orientadores da Aprendizagem para a Educação a Distância” (Guiding Learning Training for Distance Education) in the pedagogical practices of teachers of technical education that work for Centro Paula Souza. The methodology applied was the study of literature about the topic and field research conducted in the form of a questionnaire administered to the target audience via online. The results showed that the course positively influenced teaching practices. There was an increased use of technology in everyday teaching of the teachers interviewed. This increase was more significant in media and technologies, as podcast, blogs, wikis and social networks. This work also discussed, based on scientific literature, some of the possible reasons related to resistance to the use of technologies by teachers, it is clear that these reasons are a complex set of interrelated factors, which need further discussions and reflections for a better understanding of the phenomenon
