This conclusion term course paper is the continuation of a Scientific Initiation Research developed during the graduation course with the aim of identifying the importance of the game to the child’s socialization, at the end of the work, it was necessary to make a profound study towards the democracy concept and its importance to education. To reach this, the research was done in a way of bibliographical investigation and based in two authors that discuss the concept of democracy related to education: Paulo Freire and John Dewey. Based in the reding of their books, the studies could relate the concepts of education, democracy, autonomy and democracy society in the school context. The work was organized in four chapters that represent the generative ideas of the investigation: Paulo Freire and John Dewey’s ideas expressed by both authors
