Resumo: This paper combine concepts of education, management, ethics and morality, investigating the role of schools in the formation of student values. The study revolves around the relationship education and society, reflecting on the fragility of the problems facing the educational process and social demands. Field data were collected through a questionnaire and comments made in open schools of public and private education. The goal is to develop an education project dedicated to training of ethical-moral subject, highlighting the importance of school environment in the process that involves parents, students, faculty and staff, where the democratic management strategy emerges as the manager to strengthen the school community and example of citizenship. O estudo gira em torno da relação educação-sociedade, refletindo sobre a fragilidade do processo educativo frente aos problemas e demandas sociais. Os dados de campo foram colhidos através de questionário aberto e observações realizadas em escolas da rede pública e particular de ensino.
