Resumo: | This research has as object of study the UniCEU, located in the CEU, offering distance learning higher public education. The distance learning has accumulated a great growth in enrollments since its regulation, mainly in the training of teachers. Faced with this, the cutting of this, is the Pedagogy course, offered at the UniCEU Meninos by Unesp and Univesp. The subjects are: students, coordinator of the center, director and coordinator of UniCEU, community members and CEU staff. The general objective is to understand the reasons that lead to the installation and the provision of higher education courses in peripheral territories of São Paulo city and to understand the importance of access to this stage of education for popular classes. And the specific objectives: characterize the socioeconomic profile of students, identify the motivations to pursue the course, what they think of the distance learning mode, analyze the relevance of "university migrate" from the central territory to the CEUs, identify possible transformations in the territory from the access to higher education, to verify the impact of the course in agents’ life and the technological resources it has for its academic development. Quantitative and qualitative methodologies and data collection instruments were adopted: questionnaire, interview and documentary analysis. The contributions of Bourdieu, Haesbaert, Raffestin and Levy constituted the theoretical reference. It was concluded that: the profile of the students is composed of 20 women and seven men, aged between 24 to 59 years, signaling subjects beyond the expected age for higher education; the reasons for the location of UniCEU and the presence of public university in the peripheral territory is important for access to higher education to popular classes and the analysis of the legislation means that the location of UniCEU was not an isolated initiative but a strategy of cooperation between the entities to achieve PNE targets; the presence of UniCEU in the community provides access to the network territory (Haesbaert, 2004) with the establishment of the center, connecting public universities with the community, enabling cultural and scientific exchange; there is a new territoriality with this inclusive public policy of access to the public university, with benefits to the school community due to the disruptive formation in which universities go to school to train teachers in vulnerable territories. The motivations of the students to pursue higher education in the UniCEU are based on the criteria: location, gratuity, symbolic value of the public university, for being distance learning, professional growth, continuing education and the need of diploma to meet legal requirements |

The motivations of the students to pursue higher education in the UniCEU are based on the criteria: location, gratuity, symbolic value of the public university, for being distance learning, professional growth, continuing education and the need of diploma to meet legal requirementsEsta pesquisa tem como objeto de estudo a UniCEU, instalada no CEU, ofertando ensino superior EaD público. A EaD acumula grande crescimento de matrículas desde a sua regulamentação, principalmente na formação de professores. Diante disso, o recorte desta é o curso de Pedagogia ofertado no polo UniCEU Meninos pela Unesp e Univesp. Os sujeitos são: estudantes, coordenadora do polo, diretora e coordenadora da UniCEU, membros da comunidade e funcionários CEU. O objetivo geral foi compreender as razões que levam à instalação, e à oferta de cursos superiores EaD em territórios periféricos do município de São Paulo e entender a importância do acesso a essa etapa de ensino para as classes populares. E os específicos: caracterizar o perfil socioeconômico dos estudantes, identificar as motivações para buscar o curso, o que pensam da modalidade EaD, analisar a relevância da “universidade migrar” do território central para os CEUs, identificar possíveis transformações no território a partir do acesso ao ensino superior, verificar o impacto do curso na vida dos agentes e recursos tecnológicos que dispõe para seu desenvolvimento acadêmico. Foram adotadas metodologias quantitativa e qualitativa, com instrumentos de coleta de dados: questionário, entrevista e análise documental. As contribuições de Bourdieu, Haesbaert, Raffestin e Levy constituíram o referencial teórico. Concluiu-se que: o perfil dos estudantes é composto por 20 mulheres e sete homens, com idade entre 24 a 59 anos, sinalizando sujeitos fora da idade esperada para o ensino superior; as razões para instalação da UniCEU e presença da universidade pública no território periférico são importantes para o acesso ao ensino superior às classes populares. Além disso, a análise da legislação enseja que a instalação da UniCEU não foi uma iniciativa isolada, mas estratégia de cooperação entre os entes federativos para atingir metas do PNE; a presença da UniCEU na comunidade propicia acesso ao território-rede (Haesbaert, 2004) com a implantação dos polos, conectando as universidades públicas com a comunidade, possibilitando intercâmbio cultural e científico; há uma nova territorialidade com essa política pública inclusiva de acesso à universidade pública, com benefícios à comunidade escolar pela formação disruptiva na qual as universidades vão à escola formar professores em territórios vulneráveis. As motivações dos estudantes para buscar o ensino superior EaD na UniCEU, são baseadas nos critérios: localização, gratuidade, valor simbólico da universidade pública, por ser EaD, ascensão profissional, formação continuada e necessidade do diploma para atender requisitos legaisConselho Nacional de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico - CNPqCoordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESapplication/pdfhttp://tede2.pucsp.br/tede/retrieve/49405/Solange%20de%20F%c3%a1tima%20Andreassa%20Di%20Agustini.pdf.jpgporPontifícia Universidade Católica de São PauloPrograma de Estudos Pós-Graduados em Educação: História, Política, SociedadePUC-SPBrasilFaculdade de EducaçãoEnsino à distânciaEaDUniCEUEnsino superiorProfessores universitáriosDistance educationEducation, HigherCollege teachersCNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::EDUCACAO::TOPICOS ESPECIFICOS DE EDUCACAOA rede UniCEU e as transformações no território CEUThe UniCEU network and the transformations in the CEU territoryinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessreponame:Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações da PUC_SPinstname:Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP)instacron:PUC_SPTEXTSolange de Fátima Andreassa Di Agustini.pdf.txtSolange de Fátima Andreassa Di Agustini.pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain435478https://repositorio.pucsp.br/xmlui/bitstream/handle/22291/4/Solange%20de%20F%c3%a1tima%20Andreassa%20Di%20Agustini.pdf.txtd4fd751a6e201220419fb3d94d0e9e94MD54LICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
