Resumo: This article criticizes the current way in which the Ministers of the Federal Supreme Court are chosen and appointed, given that the appointment is made by the President of the Republic, who can choose any citizen with unblemished conduct, even if he has no academic background on right. This fact makes this choice unique and exclusively political and consequently detrimental, since the ministers who are part of this important body of the Judiciary should have as their main function the protection of the Federal Constitution
