Resumo: Due to the notorious proliferation of artificial intelligence programs, it becomes relevant to study the reflexes that result from their application. Thus, this dissertation aims to analyze the impacts related to the use of artificial intelligence in the context of contracts, as disciplined by current civil and consumer legislation. In view of this, the research follows the deductive and exploratory methodology. In this sense, it starts with the definition of artificial intelligence in conjunction with other programs and systems of computing and cybernetics, and then, through the investigation of practical cases, identify the hermeneutic problems in the legal treatment of civil contracts involving the use of intelligence artificial, revealing an urgent need for specific legislative support in the matter. In the end, it seeks to demonstrate that the existing concepts and forms within the scope of the formation and execution of contracts, interpretation of legal transactions and civil liability are functional for the solution of these dilemmas, but probably insufficient to pacify them

Assim, a presente monografia analisa os impactos atinentes ao uso da inteligência artificial no contexto dos contratos, conforme disciplinados pela legislação civil e consumerista vigente. Em vista disso, a pesquisa obedeceu à metodologia dedutiva e exploratória. Nesse sentido, parte-se da definição de inteligência artificial em colação com os demais programas e sistemas da computação e cibernética para, então, através da investigação de casos práticos, identificar os problemas de ordem hermenêutica no tratamento jurídico dos contratos civis envolvendo uso de inteligência artificial, a revelar premente necessidade de amparo legislativo específico no assunto.
