Resumo: The aim of the present paper was to discuss some contributions of the psychoanalyst Sándor Ferenczi to the enrichment of psychoanalytic theory, specifically researching his extension of the traumatic field and his investigation of the psychic implications of subjects who were sexually assaulted. This was a theoretical research in which Ferenczi’s texts were used, mainly his “The Confusion of Tongues between Adults and Children” (1992), which indicates psychic destinies of subjects who suffered these traumas and discusses his original concept of denial, which this research focused on. Furthermore, the implications of the analyst’s posture were discussed, as well as the challenges to be overcome in the clinical management of these cases

Tratou-se de uma pesquisa teórica na qual foram utilizados os textos de Ferenczi, principalmente seu “Confusão de línguas de língua entre os adultos e a criança” (1992) de 1932, que indica destinos psíquicos dos sujeitos que sofreram esses traumas e discute seu original conceito de desmentido, que esta pesquisa deu enfoque.
