Resumo: Goal – To understand the knowledge and attitudes of university students specializing in the health care area about sexuality among an elderly population. The student population has demonstrated a reasonable knowledge of the subject and their attitude is relatively liberal. Nevertheless it is still important to plan and implementprograms to deal with the stereotypes related to the concept of sexuality in the elderly. The level of knowledge and existing attitudes towards the subject impacts their professional performance.

Os estudantes mostraram um conhecimento razoável sobre a sexualidade no envelhecimento e uma atitude relativamente liberal.
