Encounter with youth: contributions of Psychodrama in the appropriation of stories of the elderly

Resumo: Aging is linked to biological, psychological and social factors that, in the case and several losses and mourning occur with it, especially linked to changes in the roles they play in the family, in the labor market, in society. This study aimed to understand and explain in what sense some interventions work, in which the psychodramatics aimed at appropriating the stories of elderly people who experience such processes of loss or grief are exemplary. It is concluded that the dramatization of stories and memories, allow elderly participants, subjects of this investigation, to rescue sensations and social roles in a vitalizing, renewing way, by giving new meaning to the moment and their current roles.

El envejecimiento está vinculado a factores biológicos, psicológicos y sociales que, en el caso de las personas mayores, les provocan diversas pérdidas y duelo, especialmente vinculados a cambios en los roles que desempeñan en la familia, en el mercado laboral, en la sociedad. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo comprender y explicar en qué sentido funcionan algunas intervenciones, en las que son ejemplares las psicodramáticas encaminadas a apropiarse de las historias de personas mayores que viven tales procesos de pérdida o duelo. Se concluye que la dramatización de relatos y recuerdos brinda a los ancianos sujetos de esta investigación, rescatar sensaciones y roles sociales de manera vitalizadora y renovadora, al darle un nuevo significado al momento y sus roles actuales.  O envelhecimento se liga a fatores biológicos, psíquicos e sociais que, no caso das pessoas idosas, acarretam-lhes diversas perdas, lutos, especialmente os ligados às mudanças dos papéis por elas desempenhados na família, no mercado de trabalho, na sociedade. Este estudo teve como objetivo compreender e explicitar em que sentido funcionam algumas intervenções, em que são exemplares as psicodramáticas voltadas à apropriação de histórias de idosos vivenciadores de tais processos de perdas ou luto.
