Resumo: The aim was to verify which one variable of the center of pressure (CoP) are used to evaluate postural balance after a stroke event, and how these are made and performed in older people. A search for articles published between the years 2010 until 2020 carried out in PubMed, MEDLINE, LILACS, SciELO, and Cochrane databases. Were found 294 papers, and 5 studies were selected. The most used variables were positioning the velocities, and CoP oscillation area variables, and bipodal support (with the open eye) for 30 seconds.

Se realizó una búsqueda de artículos publicados entre 2010-2020 en PubMed, MEDLINE, LILACS, SciELO y Cochrane. Se encontraron 294 estudios y se seleccionaron 5. Las variables más utilizadas fueron la velocidad y el área de oscilación de lo CP y la posición posición bipodal (ojos abiertos) por 30 segundos.  Objetivou-se verificar as variáveis do centro de pressão (CP) mais utilizadas para avaliar o equilíbrio de idosos pós-acidente vascular cerebral e como são essas avaliações. Foi realizada busca por artigos publicados entre 2010-2020, nas bases de dados PubMed, MEDLINE, LILACS, SciELO e Cochrane. Foram encontrados 294 estudos e cinco foram selecionados.
