Resumo: Objective is to describe the clinical and surgical profile of elderly people. This is a descriptive and retrospective study, with a quantitative approach. The study sample consists of 130 records of elderly people who underwent surgery. Demographic characteristics have been described; the clinical profile; the surgical profile; and the main complications. The study allowed to identify characteristics of the elderly population served, which will subsidize the planning of the assistance provided

Este es un estudio descriptivo y retrospectivo, con un enfoque cuantitativo. La muestra del estudio consta de 130 registros de personas mayores que se sometieron a cirugía. Se han descrito características demográficas; el perfil clínico el perfil quirúrgico; y las principales complicaciones. El estudio permitió identificar las características de la población anciana atendida, lo que subsidiará la planificación de la asistencia brindada. Objetiva-se descrever o perfil cirúrgico e complicações pós-operatórias em idosos atendidos em um centro cirúrgico. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo e retrospectivo, com abordagem quantitativa. A amostra foi composta por 130 prontuários de idosos submetidos à cirurgia. Descreveram-se as características demográficas; perfil clínico e cirúrgico; e principais complicações no pós-operatório.
