Resumo: The Chilean neoliberal consensus, which has been promoted since the military dictatorship, has installed the depoliticization of social processes, where the struggles for housing were added to private property. The claim against a post-political city, marked by conformism in relation to spatial inequalities and the control of peripheries through housing and subsidies, manages to articulate the collective sense of the movement. Through the experience of the Ukamau population movement, this work aims to describe the scope of its claiming actions as an attitude of anger in the city of Santiago de Chile. Based on interviews with the movement’s key social actors, the article seeks to recognize its trajectory as a social and political movement

Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo2019-08-28info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://revistas.pucsp.br/index.php/metropole/article/view/2236-9996.2019-4604Cadernos Metrópole; Vol. 21 No. 46 (2019): O ativismo urbano contemporâneo: resistências e insurgências à ordem urbana neoliberal; 763-782Cadernos Metrópole; Vol. 21 Núm. 46 (2019): O ativismo urbano contemporâneo: resistências e insurgências à ordem urbana neoliberal; 763-782Cadernos Metrópole; Vol. 21 No. 46 (2019): O ativismo urbano contemporâneo: resistências e insurgências à ordem urbana neoliberal; 763-782Cadernos Metrópole; v. 21 n. 46 (2019): O ativismo urbano contemporâneo: resistências e insurgências à ordem urbana neoliberal; 763-7822236-99961517-2422reponame:Cadernos Metrópole (Online)instname:Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP)instacron:PUC_SPspahttps://revistas.pucsp.br/index.php/metropole/article/view/2236-9996.2019-4604/pdfCopyright (c) 2019 Cadernos Metrópole.info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessPaulsen Espinoza, AlexRodríguez Negrete, LauraHidalgo Dattwyler, Rodrigo2019-08-29T03:09:13Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/41801Revistahttps://revistas.pucsp.br/metropolePRIhttps://old.scielo.br/oai/scielo-oai.phpcadernosmetropole@outlook.com||cadernosmetropole@outlook.com2236-99961517-2422opendoar:2019-08-29T03:09:13Cadernos Metrópole (Online) - Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP)false
