Resumo: This paper analyzes some aspects of the process of creating specialized human resources in nuclear technology during the extent of the agreement between Brazil and West Germany, by focusing on the PRONUCLEAR (Nuclear Sector Human Resources Program). Although not many, some important positive results can be identified from the analysis of reports describing the work and track record of PRONUCLEAR: the creation of specialized training programs in nuclear technology; the improvement and redirection of the curricula of courses related to its objectives – thus fostering the creation of an expressive number of technicians, masters and doctors in nuclear energy and related fields.

Aunque escasos, algunos resultados positivos pueden ser identificados a partir del análisis de los reportes que acompañaron la trayectoria de PRONUCLEAR, pudiéndose destacar: la creación de programas de especialización en tecnología nuclear, perfeccionamiento y reorientación de los currículos de los cursos relacionados a sus objetivos - lo que permitió la capacitación de un expresivo contingente de técnicos y posgraduados (maestría y doctorado).Neste trabalho são analisados alguns aspectos do processo de formação de recursos humanos especializados para a área nuclear no período de vigência do Acordo Brasil-Alemanha Ocidental, enfocando o Programa de Recursos Humanos para o Setor Nuclear (PRONUCLEAR).
