Resumo: | In the health area, the incorporation of new technologies oriented to work is required both by the high number of innovations that are incorporated in health care and by the improvement of the services provided. The technical context demands more and more reflective and up-to-date professionals. In this sense, new health technologies gain space and become important tools in the construction of care. One of the health problems that is gradually increasing and affecting patients at all three levels of health care is Pressure Ulcer. The aim of this research was to develop an application for mobile devices that can aid in the classification of the stages of Pressure Ulcer, as well as in choosing the most appropriate coverage. Design Science Research (DRS) was used as a scientific method. Although it is an approach focused on the area of engineering, it has found a relationship between DRS and the main steps of the research methods in the health area, both guaranteeing the scientific rigor for the development of the application. It was followed by the thirteen stages of DSR, which are: problem identification, problem awareness, systematic review, identification of artifacts, configuration of problem classes, proposition of artifacts to solve specific problems, artifact design, artifact development, evaluation of artifact, learning explicitations, conclusion, generalization to a class of problems and communication of results. The main results are the development of the LEPRESS application, which was developed, evaluated and tested as determined by the DSR. Acceptance of the application as a work and learning tool by professionals who attend patients with Pressure Ulcer ensures the success of the research. |

Submitted by PPG Medicina e Ciências da Saúde (medicina-pg@pucrs.br) on 2019-08-30T15:13:58Z No. of bitstreams: 1 Tese do Doutorado Janine Koepp 2019.pdf: 6596832 bytes, checksum: 7051a38978fbd972f83bb28d134bae76 (MD5)Approved for entry into archive by Sheila Dias (sheila.dias@pucrs.br) on 2019-09-10T13:25:34Z (GMT) No. of bitstreams: 1 Tese do Doutorado Janine Koepp 2019.pdf: 6596832 bytes, checksum: 7051a38978fbd972f83bb28d134bae76 (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2019-09-10T13:29:59Z (GMT).
