Resumo: The present study aims to analyze motivational and affective aspects that lead students to opt for this course of legal practice in SAJUG Service (Free Legal Assistance), in the course of Law, Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul in Porto Alegre - RS. For both as theoretical foundations, historical notions of legal education in Brazil, the creation and meaning of SAJUG, aspects of affectivity and Motivational theories. The survey was prepared on the assumption that educational proposals based on motivation and affection, are of utmost relevance for the student to have an autonomous and active role in the learning process and the construction of knowledge. This study is a qualitative one and uses the case study as a methodological way. The research relies on the content analysis of Bardin, for verification of the data, which were obtained through the students' answers to a questionnaire, besides the professional experience of the researcher as a teacher of this subject. The results show that the practical classes, establish more emotional bonds between students, teachers and the community, arousing greater interest and motivation, which assist and facilitate learning, due to the direct application of theoretical knowledge in legal practice.

The results show that the practical classes, establish more emotional bonds between students, teachers and the community, arousing greater interest and motivation, which assist and facilitate learning, due to the direct application of theoretical knowledge in legal practice.O presente estudo tem como objetivo principal analisar aspectos motivacionais e afetivos que levam os alunos a optarem pela disciplina de Prática Jurídica no SAJUG (Serviço de Assistência Judiciária Gratuita), no curso de Direito da Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, em Porto Alegre RS. Para tanto, tem como embasamento teórico noções históricas do ensino jurídico no Brasil, a criação e o significado do SAJUG, os estudos sobre afetividade e teorias motivacionais. A pesquisa foi elaborada, partindo do pressuposto de que propostas educativas, com base na motivação e afetividade, são de máxima relevância, para que o aluno tenha uma postura autônoma e ativa no processo de aprendizagem e na construção do conhecimento. Este trabalho é de cunho qualitativo e utiliza o estudo de caso como forma metodológica. A pesquisa se vale da análise de conteúdo de Bardin, para a verificação dos dados, que foram obtidos, através das respostas dos alunos a um questionário, além da experiência profissional da pesquisadora como docente desta disciplina. Os resultados obtidos demonstram que as aulas práticas, no escritório jurídico do SAJUG, estabelecem mais vínculos afetivos entre os alunos, o professor e a comunidade, despertando, assim, maior interesse e motivação, aspectos estes que auxiliam e facilitam a aprendizagem, devido à aplicação direta do conhecimento teórico na prática jurídica.Made available in DSpace on 2015-04-14T14:23:49Z (GMT).
