Resumo: | The qualitative research triangulation process developed by Tuzzo and Braga (2016) adopts a theoretical-methodological reasoning to explain that triangulation in qualitative research can be understood in another way. The multi-method proposal initially elaborated by the researchers is concretized from the definition of the object, the subject and the phenomenon, suggesting, in the study originally developed, that the vertices of triangulation are actually new levels of investigation. In light of the digital revolution, and the advancement of the internet, especially from digital social media platforms, this article presents a new look at the metaphenomenon and its genesis in the triangulation process, providing new perspectives on qualitative research, in such a way that that the subject and object of the research were substantially modified due to the change that occurred in the phenomena, whose change ultimately occurred in its genesis, that is, changes in the facts and/or elements that contributed to produce the phenomena. Thus, the possibility of triangulation even when dealing with the same perspective – qualitative – seems to be an approach that is sustained and makes sense as it offers the researcher multiple and different views of the same place of speech. This reflection is strengthened by showing that triangulation can be carried out in the same type of research – qualitative, which is now expanded and can occur in two ways: physical or digital. As a phenomenon is only part of the various phenomena that make up the metaphenomenon category, choosing a phenomenon, an object and a subject and choosing the mode (physical/digital) explains and enables qualitative research to be carried out from the perspective of the metaphenomenon It is in the metaphenomenon that the possibility of multiple research originates, it is in it that the complexity of research is understood, it is the genesis of the entire investigation process. |
