Project collection of semi-jewels: considering the solo "Tatuagem" of dance show “Chico, Eu e Buarque”

The present work aims with the development of a collection of semi-jewels, based on a jewelry product design, using the "Tatuagem" solo of the contemporary dance show 'Chico, eu e Buarque' from the Art Education Center Arthur Azevedo Theater (MA), interpreted by the dancer Débora Buhatem, who is the target of the project, as inspiration to design the. For this work, there was a deepening of research regarding the process of industrial and artisanal manufacture of jewels and semi-jewels, materials and technologies, creation and prototyping, basing the methodology in Santos (2013), Munari (1998), Lobach (2001), Baxter (2000), following three steps for jewelry production: inspiration, configuration and validation. As a result we have a collection consisting of five pieces: two rings, two pairs of earrings and a pendant, inspired by the movements of the ballerina Débora Buhatem in the "Tatuagem" solo. The semi-jewels were produced in silver, possessing a gem with a symbolic value, the pink quartz, which brings to the pieces an expression of love, care and fineness.
