Identificação e caracterização das NEE : construção de uma ficha

Com esta investigação procurámos avaliar a adequação, compreensibilidade e funcionalidade da Grelha de Identificação das NEE’s de carácter prolongado, com o objectivo de criar uma ficha alternativa. A identificação deste problema e a necessidade de construir uma ficha alternativa prende-se com o facto de estar envolvida na Educação Especial e com a evolução que o paradigma conceptual das NEE têm vindo a assumir ao longo de décadas. Reflectindo sobre as retransformações, reconstruções conceptuais e contextuais que envolvem a Educação Especial e a sua eficiência nas respostas, com a recente adopção da CIF, pretende-se construir um instrumento de Identificação e Caracterização das NEE, passível de responder com eficiência e objectividade às reais necessidades das crianças com NEE e do professor no âmbito da Educação Especial. O estudo envolveu uma amostra de conveniência com 49 professores do Ensino Regular e 49 professores de Educação Especial a leccionarem em diferentes níveis de ensino. Os professores na 1ª fase preencheram uma Grelha utilizada pelas ECAE´s durante anos, na 2º fase responderam a uma escala sobre a mesma, relativamente à compreensibilidade e adequabilidade e, na 3ª fase, a um questionário sobre a ficha de Identificação e Caracterização das NEE (IC-NEE) construída para o efeito. Pela análise dos dados, constatámos que entre os professores do Ensino Regular e de Educação Especial existe uma discrepância significativa ao nível do preenchimento e avaliação da compreensibilidade e adequabilidade da Grelha. Os professores de Educação Especial consideram a ficha de Identificação e Caracterização das NEE (IC-NEE) funcional, útil e adequada. ABSTRACT: By doing this investigation, we tried to evaluate the adaptation/usage, understanding and functioning of the Identification Grid for the long-term educational needs, in order to build an alternative one. This identification of the problem and the need to create a new Grid are related with the knowledge of Special Education and with the evolution of the conceptual framework assumed by the SEN’s in the last few decades. Considering the changes and the conceptual and context and context reconstructions involving Special Education and its effective responses, with the recent adoption of CIF, we aim to build a tool for Identification and Characterization of SEN and their in an effective and objective way. This study involved a sample of 49 Regular Education teachers and 49 Special Education teachers, teaching different grades. Firstly, they were asked to fill in a table used by ECAE for many years and them, they had to fill in a scale about the Grid, evaluating its comprehensibility and adequacy. Finally, they had to answer to a questionnaire about the Identification and Characterization of SEN, specially built for this. Data shoed us that there are great differences between these two groups of teachers in what concerns the filling in and evaluated of the comprehensibility and adequacy of the grid. Special Education teachers tend to consider the Identification and Characterization of SEN sheet functional, useful and adequate.
