O estágio desenvolveu-se entre outubro e junho do ano letivo 2020/2021, numa Escola Básica do 1º ciclo. Este trabalho teve como principal objetivo prevenir o bullying através da mediação. Para a realização deste projeto de intervenção-investigação foi selecionada uma turma do 4º ano de escolaridade que era composta por 24 alunos, sendo 14 rapazes e 10 raparigas. O bullying é um tipo de violência que gera mais violência e que causa danos sociais e individuais para as vítimas. Existe a forma direta de agressão como, por exemplo, ameaçar, bater e roubar, mas também a forma indireta como, por exemplo, isolar a vítima e espalhar boatos. Por norma, a vítima passa por várias agressões que contribuem para a sua exclusão social. A mediação escolar contribui para prevenir os conflitos que possam surgir e para a construção de uma sociedade mais pacífica, fortalecida na autonomia, na cidadania e no respeito, encara o conflito como oportunidade de crescimento e promove a convivência nas escolas, consciencializando os alunos para que se compreendam e compreendam o outro. A metodologia privilegiada para o desenvolvimento do estágio foi de natureza qualitativa promovida através da investigação-intervenção. Os objetivos de investigação focaram-se em investigar as caraterísticas que levam a comportamentos de bullying e analisar os efeitos das estratégias de prevenção ao bullying nos comportamentos das crianças. Os principais objetivos de intervenção incidiram em prevenir comportamentos agressivos; identificar estratégias para prevenir comportamentos de bullying; implementar atividades de prevenção ao bullying na escola e avaliar a evolução da comunicação e dos comportamentos dos intervenientes ao longo do processo de mediação preventiva. Destacam-se como principais resultados a evolução do comportamento dos alunos, adotando progressivamente atitudes de comunicação positiva no reconhecimento e expressão de sentimentos e emoções. No final da intervenção os alunos estavam mais empáticos, compreensivos uns com os outros e mais unidos. Neste sentido, considera-se que a investigação-intervenção contribuiu para a adoção de comportamentos menos agressivos assim como a sua prevenção para o futuro.This Report is inserted in the 2nd year of the Master's degree in Education, specialization in Educational Mediation, University of Minho. The internship was developed between October and June of the school year 2020/2021, in a Basic School of the 1st cycle. The main objective of this work was to prevent bullying through mediation. For the accomplishment of this intervention-research project, a 4th year of schooling was selected, consisting of 24 students, 14 boys and 10 girls. Bullying is a type of violence that generates more violence and causes social and individual harm to victims. There is a direct form of aggression, such as threatening, beating and stealing, but also the indirect way, such as isolating the victim and spreading rumors. As a rule, the victim goes through several aggressions that contribute to his social exclusion. School mediation contributes to prevent the conflicts that may arise and to the construction of a more peaceful society, strengthened in autonomy, citizenship and respect, sees conflict as an opportunity for growth and promotes coexistence in schools, raising students' awareness so that they understand and understand the other. The privileged methodology for the development of the internship was qualitative in nature promoted through research-intervention. The research objectives focused on investigating the characteristics that lead to bullying behaviors and analyzing the effects of bullying prevention strategies on children's behaviors. The main objectives of intervention focused on preventing aggressive behavior; identify strategies to prevent bullying behaviors; implement bullying prevention activities at school and assess the evolution of communication and behavior of stakeholders throughout the preventive mediation process. The main results are the evolution of students' behavior, progressively adopting attitudes of positive communication in the recognition and expression of feelings and emotions. At the end of the intervention the students were more empathetic, understanding of each other and more united.
