METHODS AND TECHNIQUES OF KOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT: COMMUNITIES OF PRACTICE

Resumo: | The purpose of this paper is to address the knowledge management (KM) and the importance of Communities of Practice (CoP), with its advantages, disadvantages and classification, in order to identify how this technique can help improve KM in organizations. The work is largely qualitative in nature, exploratory and descriptive design developed from research literature and a case study in two organizations on the topic. We tried to perform a systematic review of the literature, seeking some concepts, tools and techniques for GC, emphasizing issues related to CoP's. The results indicated that the CoP's are very important techniques for improving KM in the organizations. However, in isolation, these techniques will not solve all the difficulties of knowledge management in companies with a need for integrated action with other techniques and tools to strengthen the strategy of KM in organizations |

O trabalho é de natureza predominantemente qualitativa, do tipo exploratório-explicativa e com delineamento desenvolvido a partir de pesquisa documental, bibliográfica e estudo de caso em uma organização sobre o tema em questão. Procurou-se realizar uma revisão sistemática na literatura, buscando alguns conceitos, ferramentas e técnicas de GC, enfatizando questões relacionadas às CoP’s. Os resultados indicaram que as CoP’s são técnicas muito importantes para melhorar a GC nas organizações.
