Resumo: This dissertation aims to investigate the Legal System of Covered Actions for Criminal Investigation and Prevention and its influence on the constitutional rights, freedoms and guarantees of the individual. Also mentioned are the mechanisms of the Criminal Police Organs and their intervention in covert or infiltrated actions. The figure of the provoking agent is also studied here in order to perceive the controversy of this agent. All this analysis are made through the collection, study and research of varied doctrine, national and international, as well as some jurisprudence.

A figura do agente provocador é também aqui estudada, de forma a perceber a sua controvérsia.
