Desenvolvimento Positivo dos Jovens: a dança e o Modelo de Responsabilidade Social

Resumo: | The dissertation presented here is on the topic of Positive Youth Development, sport, dance and the Personal and Social Responsibility Model. This research 17 was built in different ways: the literature review, and the elaboration of two studies, which aimed to verify the interactions between the practice of Dance classes with the Positive Development of Young People and the Personal and Social Responsibility model. Study 1 was a study of a quantitative nature, with 1033 young people from technical education schools in the city of Porto and the aim of this study was to verify whether the type of sport and frequency of sports practice have an influence on the levels of Personal and Social Responsibility of young people.a Data collection was through the questionnaire QPRS and the results obtained through the statistical test of ANOVA. Study 2, of a qualitative nature, was the result of two interventions with young people in the Group of Schools of Cerco do Porto using dance classes and the Personal and Social Responsibility Model. The first intervention was with students from the 12th year of secondary technical education in Physical Education, and the second was with students from the 6th grade. The instruments used in the second study were interviews with teachers, reflective diary, interviews with students and videos of classes. modality influences the levels of Personal and Social Responsibility, while the frequency of practice does not. With study 2, it was concluded that the application of dance with the MRPS fosters responsibility, respect, autonomy and cooperation among young people. Further studies with the MRPS are suggested in order to improve the education and development of young people in all aspects of their lives. |
