Resumo: The objective of this study is to investigate the ideas of the future teachers on Darwin’s Biological Evolution. Were interviewed 28 students of Science and Biology on what they know concerning the subject. The results show that the students, despite the importance of the issue for the Biology, present serious problems of understanding the biological evolution. Only a few students report the two theses of Darwin-common ancestor and the natural selection- at the same time. For many (50%) is a theory partially (or not) proved. Among these, there are those who consider it an unscientific theory.

Se entrevistarán 28 estudiantes de Ciencias y Biología en lo que conocen acerca del assunto. Los resultados muestran que los estudiantes, la despeito de la importancia del tema para la Biología, presentan serios problemas de comprensión de la evolución biológica. Sólo unos pocos estudiantes se reportan a las dos tesis de Darwin-ancestro común y la selección natural - al mismo tiempo. Para muchos (50%) es una teoría parcialmente (o no) comprobada. De entre esos, hay los que a consideran una teoría no científica.O objetivo deste trabalho é investigar as ideias de futuros professores sobre a Evolução Biológica de Darwin. Foram entrevistados 28 alunos de Ciências e de Biologia sobre o que conhecem a respeito do assunto. Os resultados apontam que os alunos, a despeito da importância do tema para a Biologia, apresentam sérios problemas de entendimento da evolução biológica. Só alguns alunos se reportam às duas teses de Darwin- ancestral comum e seleção natural- ao mesmo tempo. Para muitos (50%) é uma teoria parcialmente (ou não) comprovada.
