Resumo: Considering the new methods of learning mediated by new technologies, there are two scenarios which emerge with strong potential for informal learning: the online tutorials and discussion forums. This paper aims to compare the existing information in each one through a qualitative documental analysis of the content presented on examples of tutorials and forums from Pixel2Life Studios Inc © platform. The connection between the two types of content were, then, analyzed, and the results sustain the proximity of the two contexts in terms of language type but deviate them when it comes to of data preparation aspects.
