Resumo: The following equity research report values the target price as well as shareholder return of Ørsted for December 2021. The valuation is based on various assumptions. Firstly, for categorizing the company with in its peer and examining its past performance, a peer performance comparison was implemented. Further, the main indicator for the valuation were derived, such as cost of equity and cost of debt with the support of sensitivity analysis, to determine Ørsted weighted cost of capital. Based on the previous investigation and assumptions, the terminal value was conducted, and the target prices were established by the discounted cash flow methodology. Furthermore, the relative valuation was conducted, to consult an additional view on the target price and shareholder return. Additionally, main risks (market entry by oil player, subsidy and inflation, cost-cutting) were questioned by sensitivity analyses and the impact on the target price.
