Resumo: | Climate change and the continued exploitation of resources constitute the greatest threats to life on earth. The construction industry has become one of the human activities that most contribute to the degradation of the environment. However, nowadays, the focus is mainly on energy issues and the reduction of carbon emissions, and less on the exploitation of resources used in the production of construction materials. The present work reflects on the management of resources and explores, through the conception of a project for the expansion of a primary school, the use of a constructive system capable of being reused. Therefore, with this opportunity, a versatile and reusable wooden masonry is developed, since it allows the assembly and its subsequent disassembly. The goal of the thesis lies in the development of a constructive system alongside the development of a project for a primary school, which intends to give a real answer in face of the constraints that the branch of construction faces, derived from the growing environmental awareness. |
