Resumo: This article appears in the context of the seminars: “The Metamorphoses of Charity: The Social Action and the Church of Porto” – and the diocesan plan of pastoral 2017/18, whose title is: “Moved by the love of God – Joy of the Gospel it is our mission.” The article integrates the proclamation of the Gospel and concern for others in a coherent unity. We begin by attending to the proclamation of the Gospel proper and then focusing on its fruit par excellence, that is, concern for others. We understand the proclamation of the Gospel as a movement of love of God granted by Jesus to those who welcome him and who thus project him in action towards the neighbor. The article is completed with the consistency of the proclamation of the Gospel and concern for others as a unique reality.

O artigo integra o anúncio do Evangelho e a solicitude para com o próximo numa unidade coerente. Começamos por atender ao anúncio do Evangelho propriamente dito para depois nos focarmos no seu fruto por excelência, ou seja, a solicitude para com o próximo. Entendemos o anúncio do Evangelho como movimento de amor de Deus concedido por Jesus àqueles que o acolhem e que assim o projetam em ação para com o próximo.
