Education for tourism and urban hospitality: introducing concepts through pedagogic games

Resumo: | This article discusses the possibility of introducing pedagogical games for children in schools as a way to teach concepts such as tourism, hospitality, citizenship. Based on the theoretical reference on urban hospitality that presupposes the hospitable socialization of individuals in urban spaces, the arguments are constructed from the point of view of tourism and citizenship. Lev Vygotsky’s constructivist interactionist pedagogy provides the necessary support to present playfulness as a environment that promotes cooperativism and social relations among learners in a motivating and transforming way of learning about new knowledges. The methodological strategy was the action research in which the researchers applied evaluative questionnaires and didactic games in two schools in the city of Nova Iguaçu - RJ. The results show the viability of the proposal as it is easy to apply, low cost and high efficiency. From the point of view of the students, there was effective learning in relation to the new concepts presented. |

Este artigo discute a possibilidade da introdução de jogos pedagógicos nas escolas como forma de ensinar conceitos como turismo, hospitalidade, cidadania para crianças. A partir do referencial teórico sobre hospitalidade urbana que pressupõe a socialização hospitaleira de indivíduos nos espaços urbanos, constroem-se os argumentos do ponto de vista do turismo e da cidadania. Já a pedagogia construtivista sócio-interacionista de Lev Vygotsky fornece o suporte necessário para apresentar o lúdico como meio que promove o cooperativismo e as relações sociais entre educandos de forma motivadora e transformadora do aprendizado sobre novos conhecimentos. A estratégia metodológica foi a pesquisaação em que os pesquisadores aplicaram questionários avaliativos e os jogos didáticos em duas escolas do município de Nova Iguaçu - RJ. Os resultados encontrados demonstram a viabilidade da proposta por ser a mesma de fácil aplicação, baixo custo e alta eficácia. Do ponto de vista dos educandos, houve aprendizado efetivo em relação aos novos conceitos apresentados.
