Resumo: | "Música Feliz" is an Extension Event linked to the Extension Office of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, presented each semester since 1995 at the School of Music without suffering a continuity solution. The goal of show art is to stimulate children and young people to perform in public, which demands technical improvement, intra and interpersonal development, growth of artistic skills required for performance, emotional self-control as well as expanding cultural, musical and repertoire knowledge. We emphasize that the musical behaviour comprises the biological, social and psychic factors. As an extensionist action the target public comprises students and teachers of the Institution, external public (students of elementary and secondary schools of public and private schools) and others interested in events of this nature. The twenty-two uninterrupted years of activities with an estimated attendance of nine hundred and eighty-five participants are justified by the nature of congregating different social, artistic and academic levels in an accomplishment of proportions very close to those of a professional concert musician, opportuning the performance in a Concert hall with the exhibition of artistic presentations. The works presented are of free choice without restriction regarding the musical style, that is, it can be erudite music, popular and compositions of the students. Although the title refers to the musical presentation, the show is open to other artistic representations. The event has three months of preparation that includes the study of the selected works, classroom training of a brief repertoire for a finalization of the spectacle in the form of a choir where everyone is fraternized on the stage and, in addition, there can be formation similar to a small Orchestra with the band's instrumentalists. A general rehearsal is held at the Leopoldo Miguez Hall of the UFRJ Music School, where the show takes place, and under the guidance of the coordinator of the event, comments are made pertinent to the students' performance, be it technical, musical or emotional. In this way students gain more confidence to publicly expose themselves with support in every way. The results show that each year the students are interested in participating for the first time or not, the demand for the event is greater, the fear of the public exhibition is attenuated and the participants show visible inter and intrapersonal growth, evidenced by the initiatives of duo performance or other chamber formations. We observed that in the scope of this event, which is a pool of future professionals, many participants have achieved success in their careers of national or international dimension. Being an Extension Event, whose proposal of the University is to expand cultural activities and knowledge produced beyond the university walls, participants not linked to the Institution are welcome. We believe that our motivational strategy drives the academic community and the general public to perform in a concert hall, which for many participants is a unique opportunity. |

We believe that our motivational strategy drives the academic community and the general public to perform in a concert hall, which for many participants is a unique opportunity.“Música Feliz” é um Evento de Extensão vinculado à Pró-Reitoria de Extensão da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro apresentado semestralmente desde 1995 na Escola de Música sem sofrer solução de continuidade. Acreditamos que a nossa estratégia motivacional impulsiona a comunidade acadêmica e o público em geral para atuarem numa sala de concerto, o que para muitos participantes é uma oportunidade única.UA Editora2019-03-18info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/articleapplication/pdfhttps://doi.org/10.34624/musichildren.v0i0.1126https://doi.org/10.34624/musichildren.v0i0.1126Music for and by children; No 1 (2018): Musichildren: Proceedings of the 1st International Conference Music for and by Children; 122-128Music for and by children; n.º 1 (2018): Musichildren: Proceedings of the 1st International Conference Music for and by Children; 122-1282795-5990reponame:Repositório Científico de Acesso Aberto de Portugal (Repositórios Cientìficos)instname:Agência para a Sociedade do Conhecimento (UMIC) - FCT - Sociedade da Informaçãoinstacron:RCAAPporhttps://proa.ua.pt/index.php/musichildren/article/view/1126https://proa.ua.pt/index.php/musichildren/article/view/1126/919Licursi, Maria BeatrizSilva, Levi LeonidoMorgado, ElsaCardoso, Mário Aníbalinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2023-11-12T10:03:13Zoai:proa.ua.pt:article/1126Portal AgregadorONGhttps://www.rcaap.pt/oai/openaireopendoar:71602024-03-19T22:38:04.156932Repositório Científico de Acesso Aberto de Portugal (Repositórios Cientìficos) - Agência para a Sociedade do Conhecimento (UMIC) - FCT - Sociedade da Informaçãofalse |
